This week at The Pollination Project, we recognize seven grantees across the globe in East Africa who are receiving seed grants that are inspiring change and transformation in rural communities. In Kenya, girls are afforded employment opportunities utilizing local fruit while up north in Uganda a community group reintroduces native plants to the land. This corner of the world is working together for sustainable change.

Congratulations to our seven recent grantees:

Joe Onen Richard and Ribe Aye-Teko, Tree Nursery Planting and Distribution, Lamwo, Uganda. Native trees are distributed and planted while participants partake in environmental education workshops.

We love learning about changemakers across the globe and all they are doing to spread compassion, peace, environmental sustainability, generosity and justice.
