Connecting people through conversations and resources serves as the catalyst to social change. The Pollination Project gives $1000 seed grants to grantees making a difference in the way that we talk about and address social matters, as well as how we allocate resources to the communities that need them most. We are proud to support grantees who drive change through truth-telling stories among African American women, embrace the beauty of the body and aging, connect individuals to crisis responders, and those who provide resources such as income-producing activities, meals, and tools to gauge activism.

Congratulations to our most recent grantees:

Precious Stroud, BlackFemaleProject, Berkeley, California. Creates a space for truth-telling, affirmation, and healing for Black women.

Gail Steinberg, Soaring, San Francisco, California. Free workshops that encourage mastery of a doable physical practice and exploring personal creativity.

Jacob Savage, Concrn, San Francisco, California. A social service network connecting individuals suffering from homelessness, mental illness, and/or substance abuse with compassionate responders trained in crisis intervention.

Chijike Ndukwu, Rural Grain Storage Project, Mbaise, Nigeria. Aims at empowering poor, rural, women maize farmers with new skills and equipment to increase their income, productivity and self-reliance.

Peter Rønsby, Active for Animals. Helps organizations collect, evaluate, and process data from their street activism events to be more effective at reaching individuals.

Women Action Group, Nutrition and Income Generation through Home Yard Gardening, Gangavalli, India. Promotes health and well-being by developing home yard gardens for 50 beneficiaries facing tough circumstances where they can consume and sale vegetables.

Janine Roberts, Ukama Community Foundation, Cape Town South Africa. Provides daily meals to children in underdeveloped townships, as well as basic necessities like blankets and clothes.

Do you have a project to change the world for the better? We accept grant applications for Pollination Project seed grants, every day of the year. We love learning about new changemakers and all they are doing to spread compassion, peace, environmental sustainability, generosity and justice all over the globe.
