Looks like its going to be another week/month of more job layoffs and folks reconsidering their careers, especially in the financial sector.
I recently wrote a piece for AdAge on how to cope with job changes that I'm hoping can help bring some optimism through these difficult times.
It's based on the 9 Principles of Change I gleaned from having interviewed thousands for my book and figuring out what makes someone good at change (resilient and able to handle anything) vs. someone who struggles and has a much harder time.
Read the article, and tell me what you think. Is there a positive change coming from all the chaos in the banking industry? Can you see a benefit to reexamining your own career path?
