We are delighted to announce the launch of the Huffington Post's first advice column, "Dr. Mona Knows."

So who is Mona and what does she know? Mona is the brilliant Dr. Mona Ackerman, a clinical psychologist in New York who's been in private practice for over twenty years. And what does she know? Everything! I may be exaggerating, but I can tell you from personal experience that Mona is the sort of person you find yourself telling your most intimate problems to five minutes after you meet her. And then ten minutes later you suddenly feel better about them. Her friends will tell you that her advice goes beyond what your own therapist will say!! And now HuffPosters will get this priceless advice for free.

Mona has an uncanny talent for getting to the heart of the matter. She just, well, knows. Hence, "Dr. Mona Knows."

You can post your questions in the comments section. And, of course, feel free to comment on the advice Mona gives and offer your own. So check out "Dr. Mona Knows." See you off the couch.
