John Bolton, TV Star?

Now that John Bolton has been kicked to the curb... I mean, decided to step down as UN Ambassador, people have been speculating what his next career move might be (some early suggestions: mustache model, professional backseat driver, Cranky Guy Who Tells Other People How to Raise Their Kids When They're Just at the Mall Minding Their Own Business).

I hear that he's going the more traditional route, seeking a high-profile presence in the media. In fact, my sources tell me that Bolton had a morning meeting (11:30 ET to be precise) in New York with Headline Media Management, a talent management firm that, according to its website "represents anchors, reporters and producers, in news and sports broadcasting, syndication and entertainment, employed by broadcast and cable networks, local stations, producers/syndicators, cable and video-stream internet entities." Along with Meredith Vieira, HMM's site touts the following "Headliner" clients: New CBS Sunday Evening News anchor Russ Mitchell; Local DC anchor Tracey Neale; ESPN college football color analyst Ed Cunningham; and OLN hockey analyst Brian Englblom.

So get ready for it: John Bolton, TV Star. Who knows, maybe he'll want to knock 10 stories off the Time Warner Building or 30 Rock.
