Last month, we asked for your help in picking the HuffPost Game Changers, 100 innovators, visionaries, and leaders who are harnessing the power of new media to reshape their fields and change the world.
More than 1,500 of you answered the call and we are very grateful for all your great suggestions.
After combing through them, as well as through the lists put together by our editors, we've picked 10 Game Changers in 10 categories -- Entertainment, Green, Politics, Style, Business, Sports, Media, Philanthropy & Service, Health, and Technology.
We are going to announce the Game Changers in two categories each week for the next five weeks, starting today with Entertainment and Green.
To honor and salute these Game Changers, we've put together slideshows giving you the lowdown on who we picked, why we picked them, and how they are changing the game.
But that's just the beginning: now it's up to you to pick the Ultimate Game Changer in each category.
Click here to vote for the Ultimate Entertainment Game Changer, and here for the Ultimate Green Game Changer. And share your picks with your friends -- see if they choose the same people you do.
Once all the categories have been revealed, we'll announce the Ultimate 10 in November.
So go check out our picks... and cast your vote (here for Entertainment and here for Green). Make sure your favorites become an Ultimate Game Changer.

It's gotta be Al Frankel using Saturday Night Live to run American politics. Alternative use of media is an understatement.
Where is Al Franken on the list
He is new and he rocks with sensibility.
Pam's the one!!!! Yeah!!!!!
The Sartorialist is great!
Tailoredness is not only inherently beautiful, it is good for society.
Funny how competitor Markos and the man who built the foundation for us Politically Howard Dean missed the poll.
Also funny the readers here don't have Jane Hampsher and ActBlue up here, if you don't know who they are, you better ask somebody.
You know the thread is Iame, when they resort to using comments from last week in an attempt to make the thread look more popular.
I vote Jon Stewart!
I want to vote for myself.

Pt.1
Saving the US economy
There is a way to save the US economy. It is by stimulating the construction sector.
The first indication of a forth coming down turn is the slowdown in the construction. business. Big company like Ingersoll Rand which had acquired large construction equipments manufacturing factories saw the impending economy turn down coming before other sectors and they sold off all related construction business. Now these company have become a liability to the new owners.
Big company involved in the construction business always are on the alert and they constantly monitor the pulse of the construction sector.
By stimulating this sector it will create a chain effect on other sectors because the construction sector also involve other sectors.
The main effect is creating jobs not only for those directly with construction but also produce a cascading effect to other industries and sectors.
Ok, is it that what we have been doing?....you are wrong
Immediate effect on 1. Construction companies, 2. Companies / factories supplying steel bar, cement, tiles, bricks, timber, construction equipments, electrical appliances, 3. Transport companies 4. Electrical fitting and appliances companies such as lightings and switches, electrical manufacturing companies such as cables 5.Glass manufacturers
Secondary effect on 1. Food and entertaining sectors due to influx of construction workers.2.Automotive manufacturers as vehicles required to transport workers and materials 3. Banking sector for the financing of construction equipments and transport vehicles.
Upon completion of these projects are need for interior decoration again completely different sectors are involved such as furniture and office equipments, air conditioning, plumbing etc. etc.
When there are jobs around increasing the purchasing power of people other industries and sectors will kick in.
Ms Arianna, I hope you can get economist to emphasize on my comments as I believe it wll help others. Maybe follow up aritcles to the comments.
Pt.3
The US government can plan mega building projects for each state badly hit by the depreciation. These projects causing a few billion dollars each must involve multiple companies otherwise it defeats the purpose of stimulating the economy if only a handful of cronies company are involved. These projects should be sustainable over the next 3-5 years.
Why the construction sector?
This sector has the widest base sectors and industries involved and passes down the economic stimulation package to more people. When people have jobs then they can pay their mortgage, buy cars and houses thus reviving the banking and financing industries.
Rescue package to the banking and automotive industries is a waste of money if they do not have business then how can they stay alive on the long run?
The government must do it now before it goes completely bankrupt which would then be too late. Mega projects should include consideration on saving the environment.
HuffpPo don’t let this comment be wasted get expert to write on this topic.
Will Ferrell changed something? Did he get funny or something?
Gordon-Levitt is a game changer because he provides an alternative platform for filmmakers and other digital artists to exhibit their art works? Kutcher is a game changer because he generates 1 million "followers" to his Twitter page? How is this anything but worshiping popularity for its own sake the way it's been done in the "old media" for decades. It's continuities like this between old and new media that seem more significant to me than their superficial differences.
There should be a little list with game changers who used the media and changed a bit for
the negativ, like those financial experts (before the crash). A marvelous example of change in
any case and where simple attention solves some problems:

Innovation is the key for the success of a society. I would like NOT to nominate any right-wing politician.
