A new poll this week showed Sarah Palin's approval ratings nosediving -- especially among women. It's as if she had been the new guest at a long-running dinner party: at first we were grateful for the new blood and, after oft-repeated tales of fighter pilot heroism and Harvard Law achievement, delighted to hear fresh stories about moose burgers, government jets sold on eBay, boondoggle bridges rejected, and lipsticked pit bulls. But suddenly we couldn't help but notice that the house was on fire. And as amused as they were by all the new stories and new characters, the American people knew that the "Welcome Sarah" party was over. It's time to get serious.

MPEACH GOVERNOR McCAIN
Palin has handed over the care of Alaska to McCain and his thugs. McCain aid, Attorney Ed O'Callahan, has stated, "I'm giving legal strategy to the Dept. of Law." It is believed Mr. O'Callahan is NOT barred to practice law in Alaska.
His advice? Alaska Attorney General Talis Colberg has advised Todd Palin & Palin staffers to ignore subpoenas in TROOPERGATE. Mr. Colberg KNOWS IT IS ILLEGAL FOR AN ATTORNEYTO ADVISE CLIENTS TO BREAK THE LAW ! Mr. Colberg is OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE, A FELONY. If he had followed due process, he could have issued a motion to quash the subpoenas, or failing that, simply advised his clients to take the fifth. Mr. Colberg is unreachable as he is on "vacation, sequestered from the media.
McCain did not vet PaliN & now has no way to dump her. His ONLY recourse is to join Palin's narcissisism in layering lie upon lie, long enough and loud enough, in the hope that people outside Alaska will not take the time to research TROOPERGATE themselves.
Anchorage Daily News has many links/articles even back to 1996 when Palin was Mayor. See for yourself -Anchorage Daily News Online at www.adn.com
Palin will come home to theAlaskans she deserted--without blinking--and the Alaska media she snubbed.
Palin's 15 minutes of fame will be over; her humilation will be remembered as infamy.
I thought I was frightened when Bush "won" his first term, I was terrified when he got in a second time, now I feel like the time I was caught up in an earthquake in L.A.......where do I turn if this gets any worse.
Why would Sarah's turnout be so high... well, already they've said that it was in a pretty traditionally conservative area. Plus... she's fresh meat for seeing in person. Guaranteed, there will be swing votes who after they see her will be saying, "No way. No Palin" ~ much of the reason many are going in the first place.

The estimates ranged from 25,000 to 60,000. And by the way, the Politico’s David Paul Kuhn has a wake-up call this morning for Obama’s trash talking, sexist left-wing supporters: ‘“Since picking Sarah Palin as his running mate, John McCain has obliterated what had been a 34-percentage-point deficit in a poll of likely women voters on the question of which candidate has a ‘better understanding of women and what is important to them. ’” Here's the link: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0908/13714.html
Liberal Democrats may want to think twice in their next presidential primary about allowing sexism to dominate the nominating process. And they might also learn to stick to the issues in debating a female member of the opposition ticket instead of going all out in hate-mongering assaults on her personal lifestyle and character.
This morning I took my spoiled dogs to the park, before heading into HQ and lo’ and behold, what was the topic that my Sunday morning dog park buddies were all lathered up about? Sara Palin.
Every single person in our group (I think there are about 18 or so) was a woman, and despite coming from vastly different backgrounds (some Dem, some GOP, some affluent, some not) we all had one thing in common, a uniformly strong disdain for Sara Palin. I have been going to this dog park for years, and frankly I had NO idea what anyone’s political affiliation was, this was an EXTREMELY unusual conversation… to the point of being surreal. Women that I have spoken with lately have a REAL problem with Sara Palin (and I live in a very RED state).
So you’re absolutely right Adrianna. The Sara Palin Party is so OVER!!!
Could you pause for a couple of minutes in spouting your sexist trash (including your offensive songs) to discuss the issues in this campaign? The Democrats already blew it by their reprehensible treatment of Hillary Clinton during the primary, a mistake they're going to regret for the next 50 years. One would hope that at least a small percentage of the rabidly sexist left-wing netroots population would have learned that offending 18 million voters in order to nominate Obama whose only qualifications are charisma and the ability to read well from teleprompter is a losing proposition from the get-go. People like you are compounding the error.
Don't celebrate Sarah's demise too soon. Politico reports (Sept. 21, 2008): Sarah Palin tonight attracted the largest crowd yet to any Republican campaign event this cycle, drawing tens of thousands of Floridians out in a conservative-leaning retirement community north of Orlando for a solo rally."
Crowd estimates reached 60,000.

First, Alaska is probably really going to push for independence now.
Second, He is making it hard for Todd Palin to get elected President of Alaska.
McCain loses... badly. 7 homes, 13 cars, Phil Graham, GW, War, Flailing Economy blunders, Age, Palin... how many mistakes can one make in a run for the White House?
Palin returns to Alaska and faces impeachment. Once Abuse of Power (Troopregate) subpoenas are enforced (Jan 2009), the overwhelming evidence against Palin will empower the now bitter AK legislature and Alaskan citizens to act and sweep away the once popular GOP veep whipstick Palin.
More and more Alaskan's are MORE than angry of the McCain camp's occupation of our Alaskan government. Enough is enough.
I was wondering how Alaskans, known for fierce independence whatever their political stripe, would react to an attempt by the McCain campaign to co-opt their state. It sounded like a very bad idea to me, and I hope that your predictions will prove to be correct. I would expect the only Alaskans who would disagree would be the hard core evangelicals, who, of course, are not independent and always support their own no matter what kind of scumballs they may be.
There were many against Palin from the beginning. Now more are beginning to see that Palin is not only the same but worse than her predecessors. Tarnishing the good name of a highly respected life-long police officer. Abuse of Power. Allowing McCain's lawyers to take over Alaska government. Palin and McCain have sold their souls to a life of deception, power, greed, corruption and lies.
For a visual on Palin's declining popularity see the photos of the Palin rally (during the height of her popularity) held in Anchorage and compare with photos of the anti-Palin rallies held on the same day:

As for McCain..........will the real McCain please stand, please stand up.
Maverick be damned. He is the real Slim Shady!
As for the McCain, everytime I read about him, all i can think is........will the real McCain please stand up, please stand up.
Maverick be damned,....he is the real slim shady!

Do you want the doctor who graduated dead last?
Drive across a bridge designed by the engineer who graduated dead last?
But Obama's academic success is something to be held against him.
The world, on almost every front, is a disaster. We have been handed arguably the biggest financial crisis in recorded history, we're fighting several wars, unemployment is on the rise, jobs are disappearing, the dollar is all over the place, gas costs a fortune (shall I go on?).
Then look at the competition! John McCain and Sarah Palin are the "best" the Republican party could come up with? He's a hot head and out-of-touch with reality - and she's a phony in-touch with a higher authority. On a purely intellectual level, picking the most worthy candidate is almost too obvious.
Despite the fact that I will vote for Obama just to keep McCain out of office - if Obama looses, I believe the Democrats will profit in the long term. It would be great sport to watch the Republicans choke to death on their own dogma over the next four years - and finally and forever the Rush Limbaugh's of the world will have to crawl back under their respective rocks. It'll be expensive, but very entertaining!
I'm sure that an Obama presidency, while currently viewed with skepticism by those on the right will be welcomed when the tax burdens are lifted on the middle class, the regulators being actually birddogging the wall street greed hounds and America becomes a respected nation abroad rather than the punchline of every joke.
It's simply time for common sense in government.
I am sorry I missed your show. I will look forward to the next interview.
