Fernando Botero Sculptures: Here Are Some Awkwardly Erotic Photos of People Washing The Artworks (PHOTOS)

The last time we wrote about one of Fernando Botero's outdoor sculptures it was because street artist Olek had wrapped one in a psychedelic sweater, but we recently came across a veritable treasure trove of images featuring several of the Colombian artist's sculptures getting dressed down and soaped up for cleaning. The Botero bronzes in question are the 23 public sculptures of his that are on view in Medellin's Plaza Botero, and the cleanup is undertaken annually by staff of the Museo de Antioquia.

We don't want to tarnish your experience of these photographs, which depict a very clean act yet nevertheless seem kind of dirty, so we will refrain from further commentary. Enjoy!
