Glazed is officially gone for good, but there's no need to shed a tear if you're looking for hoity-toity sweet treats.

Just got word restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff (Gilt Bar/Maude's Liquor Bar) is set to open Doughnut Vault in River North by month's end.

Sodikoff wouldn't disclose the exact location to 312DD, but he did reveal that the tiny space would be tucked inside a building's old vault where valuables were once stored.

We're looking forward to the menu, which he says will include Old Fashioned Glazed, as well as more contemporary concoctions like Maple Bourbon Glazed with Crispy Bacon, Lemon Chiffon and Carrot Cake. Prices will range $2.50-$3.50 per doughnut.

During the first few weeks, says Sodikoff, hours will be sporadic and weekends only.
