The truth of this is probably lost on a lot of people. With so many people brainwashed that America is the best country in the world, it is unfathomable to most people that there are countries where certain Americans would be better treated and more respected than they are here in the USA. In countries such as Holland where the medical marijuana question has long since been decided, and in Switzerland who have made a cottage industry from Death Tourism aka euthanasia aka Dr assisted suicide, they shake their head and laugh in disgust that the issue of "death panels" is such a big deal.

Yes, folks, if you are disabled or critically or terminally ill, you might actually be better off in another country where ideology does not rule over logic and rational thought

Agreed: It spotlights the people who have no compunction about sticking their hand out for others to carry their load. Anyone can turn in their birth certificate-- and their citizenship-- and leave the country. This isn't the USSR, afterall..
