Abid Shah and Abigail Spindel

Abid Shah has reported on Pakistani politics for three years. He was features editor at The Friday Times, Pakistan's longest-running independent magazine, and has written opinions for the Daily Times newspaper. He has contributed reporting to BBC Urdu, Time magazine, The Toronto Star and The Washington Times, and has been interviewed as an expert by several BBC programs. His travel writing has appeared in CNN Traveller and Adventure magazine.


Abigail Spindel is a video journalist studying at Columbia University's graduate school of journalism. She has worked for Time Magazine, MSNBC, Frontline/World and New York Magazine.
