Akhtar Khan is a UK born international TV/Radio news anchor/presenter/host and correspondent. He has more than 20 years experience on both sides of the camera. In that time he has covered every genre from news to business and from lifestyle to entertainment. He has worked for some of the most prestigious broadcasters in the world including BBC News, BBC World, Sky News and, CNBC Europe. Akhtar list his areas of expertise as international affairs, geo-politics, health and fitness, entrepreneurship, current affairs, travel and tourism and, the film industry. He is also a motivational speaker and conference moderator having invigilated events in London, Dubai, Singapore and Mumbai. His career highlights include; covering the war after 9/11 from Pakistan; being appointed Royal Correspondent for Sky News; covering breaking news for his network in New York after ISIS first beheading and covering the 2016 U.S. elections. Akhtar is a roving Ambassador for The Princes Trust. He has represented His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales on numerous occasions at Trust events. Akhtar’s claim to fame is dating former Miss World 2000 ‘Yukta Mookhey’ before being dubbed a love rat by the tabloids for dumping her via email – a claim he denies to this day! Akhtar splits his time between London and LA/NYC. His hobbies include travel and sports (avid adrenaline junkie and outdoors) including skiing, polo (horses), tennis and football.
