On May 14, 2012, Alexandra Fields will be graduated from New York City’s Barnard College where she studied English with a concentration in creative writing. She was recently awarded the Estelle M. Allison Prize for literature, the Peter S. Prescott Prize for prose writing, and the Howard M. Teichmann Writing Prize. She plans to pursue a master of fine arts in writing and become a novelist.
