Amber Stenson

Regional Program Officer for Latin America, Water For People

Amber Stenson joined Water For People in 2009 and has acted in several
key roles including as the World Water Corps Logistics Coordinator and
in her current position as Regional Program Officer for Latin America.

As the World Water Corps Logistics Coordinator, Amber traveled to
Water For People's programs in 10 countries, organizing and
coordinating international volunteer assignments for an estimated 120
individuals each year. Through this international experience, Amber
has gained extensive knowledge of Water For People's international
programmatic work and monitoring methodology.

Prior to joining Water For People, Amber was an AmeriCorps VISTA
volunteer for two years and lived worked in Honduras for one year as
a fourth grade teacher at a bilingual school.

Amber was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colo. and graduated from the
Colorado College with a BA with Distinction in Sociology.
