Founder and CEO of Greensulate

Amy Is the Founder and CEO of Greensulate, a pioneering green roof company. Norquist started the company in 2007 and is passionate about influencing public policy and constantly seeking ways for Greensulate--and the industry at large--to "install as many green roofs as possible" across the vast landscape of roof tops. Amy spent over 25 years in the fields of environmental research, science and education prior to founding Greensulate. A sampling of environmental NGO's in which she has worked include Earth Justice, Earth Island Institute and The Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries. Amy was voted one of 23 “Entrepreneurs We Love” by Inc. Magazine in 2010 and her company was recognized by Bloomberg Business as one of America’s most promising start ups. Intel and and the Aspen Institute honored Norquist as a Top Innovator. She serves on the faculty at NYU and lectures at Columbia University and the University of Miami. She is a graduate of Stanford University.
