Amy R. Hamlin

Amy R. Hamlin is the Executive Director of Volunteers in Medicine, a position she had held since 1998. Prior to that time, Ms. Hamlin held the positions of Coordinator of Elder Services and Director of the Free Clinic at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont. She has also held positions at the Vermont Department of Health, and earlier in her career was a member of the staff of the Visiting Nurse Association. A registered nurse with a graduate degree in education and public health, her professional experience has consistently focused on creating access to health care services for under served populations.
