Anna is a leadership and cultural competence coach and consultant.

She is the author of the forthcoming book, Beyond Micro aggressions: Small Actions, Big Impact, in which she breaks down the topic of micro inequities—also known as micro aggressions—and suggests techniques to effectively and sustainably minimize them.

Anna writes and conducts research about leadership, empowerment and the concept of a New America. Her essay, Living while Brown was published in the Harvard Graduate School of Education 2009 Anthology. In 2006, Anna's editorial commentary on immigration and education was awarded national recognition at the First National Ethnic Media Awards in Washington D.C. Her website: annagiraldokerr.com.
