21st century democracy is an outgrowth of the important work of the NYC Campaign Finance Board, the parent of the NYC Voter Assistance Advisory Committee, which is leading this effort. The NYC Voter Assistance Advisory Committee is grateful for the leadership of our Digital Action Working Group, a volunteer private sector working group chaired by Jed Alpert of Mobile Commons. DAWG is comprised of leading doers in mobile, web, interactive, marketing, and social change, with the support of the Ford Foundation.
