Teen advocate for human rights
Avery McCall is a teen advocate for human rights, especially those involving girls' issues. Reading Half the Sky (Kristof/WuDunn) heavily influenced and inspired her to work with several global organizations, including serving as a Teen Advisor to the UN Foundations' Girl Up campaign. She is a sophomore at Stanford University's Online High School and is a nationally ranked squash player.
