Ben Leventhal

Entrepreneur Ben Leventhal is the president of Kitchensurfing.com, a new online marketplace for chefs and people who love to eat. He is also the Co-Founder and former Editor-in-Chief of Eater.com, the largest independent restaurant news site on the web. He's built properties for companies including NBC Universal, Food Network, InterActive Corp, New York Magazine, and The High Line. Recipient of a Food & Wine Tastemaker Award in 2006, he’s written for and been featured in publications that include the New York Times, Details, Food & Wine, New York Post, Nylon and Departures and has appeared on television shows such as Top Chef and 24-Hour Restaurant Battle. He is on the board of directors of Hot Bread Kitchen, an organization that prepares minority women for careers in the culinary industry, and is on the James Beard Awards voting committee.
