Ben Schwartz is a screenwriter and journalist living in Los Angeles, CA. He has written for The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Comic Art magazine, and under the name, "Bertolt Blecht," Suck.com. He has sold screenplays to FOX, Dreamworks, Warner Bros, and patiently waits for any one of them to be produced. In the meantime, he is writing a history of American humor set between the world wars to be published by Fantagraphics in 2009. He is currently on assignment for Vanity Fair.
