Bernard Mooney

Retired Army officer; Writer/Author

Bernard Mooney a retired Army Officer. During his military career, he obtained a BS in business administration at Athens State College, Ala., and an MBA at New Mexico State University. He also served as the principal training developer and senior instructor on automated and manual administrative systems for the U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard. He culminated his Army career as the director of operations for a large mainframe computer facility in the Pentagon. After his retirement from the Army, he co-founded and served for 16 years as president, CEO, and senior automated systems architect of DINA, Inc., a 25-person computer system integration firm. He simultaneously served as technical project manager for several large Department of Defense distributed processing projects. He is now retired for a second time, and currently lives either in Las Vegas, Nev., or at his secondary home in Arlington, Va. He has begun a third career as a fledgling writer, author and self-publisher.
