Bibiana Ferraiuoli Suarez

Executive Director, Ricky Martin Foundation

Bibiana Ferraiuoli Suarez, Executive Director of the Ricky Martin Foundation, has a BA in International Relations from Tufts University and a Master Degree in journalism from Columbia University in New York.

Prior to working as an advocate of children’s rights and condemning child exploitation as a result of human trafficking and modern day slavery, Ferraiuoli Suarez worked as a journalist for a decade. During her career, she received multiple awards by the Overseas Press Club and ASPPRO, the local guild newspaper association, for her articles on social justice, education and features depicting humanitarian sagas.

Her participation in the data collection, analysis and literature to launch the first investigation about human Trafficking in Puerto Rico, led by Dr. Cesar Rey in partnership with Johns Hopkins University (The Protection Project) and the University of Puerto Rico, was instrumental.

During her career with the Foundation, Ferraiuoli Suarez has participated in several conferences on children's rights and collaborated with Ricky Martin in his presentation at the Clinton Global Initiative and during his testimony before the U.S. Congress. She has also done humanitarian visits in Cambodia, India, Thailand and several countries in Latin America in order to educate about this modern scourge.

She invites you to join the mission and to visit www.rickymartinfoundation.org.
