Brian Lambert

Executive vice president and head of film and television music, Universal Music Publishing Group

With 20 years in music publishing, Lambert oversees all of Universal Music Publishing Group's U.S. synchronization business and drives revenue through creative placements of UMPG's vast catalog in Film, Television and Advertising. He works closely with artists, writers and senior executives worldwide and is very instrumental in arranging UMPG artist and writer collaborations to create original songs for Films, TV and Commercials. Lambert has signed key Film & Television administration deals the company has completed with Warner Bros. Pictures and Television, DreamWorks, HBO and Lakeshore Entertainment and manages those relationships along with other major film studios as well. .

Lambert is based at the company’s worldwide headquarters in Santa Monica. Prior to joining Universal, Lambert spent a collective six years as Vice President of Advertising, Film & Television Music for Zomba Music Publishing/Jive Records and BMG Music Publishing respectively.
