Cappie Pondexter

A scoring machine, Pondexter teamed with Diana Taurasi to lead the Phoenix Mercury to a pair of WNBA championships, earning Finals MVP honors in 2007. She then moved to the NY Liberty in 2010, continued to score at will, and earned a second straight First Team All-WNBA selection. The Rutgers product enters 2011 ranked fourth in WNBA history with 19.7 points per game, behind only Cynthia Cooper, Diana Taurasi and Seimone Augustus. In five seasons, she has finished second in points per game twice, fourth two times, and ranked in the top 10 in assists four times. A four-time All-Star, Pondexter also owns Olympic gold.
