Makeup artist on TLC's hit show “What Not to Wear"

Best known for her makeup tips and tricks on TLC’s hit show “What Not to Wear,” Carmindy is a renowned fashion makeup artist celebrated for her dramatic beauty metamorphoses. While Carmindy boasts an A-list clientele, her mission is to transform everyday women into their most beautiful selves. Her essential role on “What Not to Wear” is helping real women feel as confident about their looks as they do about their new style.

Carmindy’s work can be seen on the editorial pages of leading magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, InStyle, O, Essence, Self, Lucky, Seventeen, Marie Claire, and Glamour. Carmindy does makeup for Clairol, Aveeno, Bath and Body Works, Crest Whitestrips, and Q-tips campaigns.

Her book, "The 5-minute Face: The Quick & Easy Makeup Guide for Every Woman," is undergoing its third press run. In addition to her freelance beauty writing, Carmindy is working on a new book for Fall 2008 featuring the new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Cosmetics line for which her work was the inspiration.

Carmindy’s latest project is developing a natural beauty line with Sally Hansen. Drawing on her years of experience bringing out the hidden beauty in real women, Carmindy is creating products designed to enhance women’s natural beauty with natural ingredients. The line, Sally Hansen Natural Beauty inspired by Carmindy, debuted in April 2008.

After years of traveling to fashion destinations around the world, Carmindy settled in New York City, where she has established herself as a top fashion makeup artist.
