Carol Weston is the author of 13 books including Girltalk: All the Stuff Your Sister Never Told You (HarperCollins), The Diary of Melanie Martin (Knopf), and the forthcoming kids' novel, Ava Wren and her Magic Pen (Sourcebooks). Since 1994, she has been the "Dear Carol" advice columnist at Girls' Life Magazine. A mom, she lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and has a B.A. from Yale (in French/Spanish comp lit) and an M.A. from Middlebury (in Spanish).
