http://www.hongkonqueror.com/http://www.hongkonqueror.com/planb/http://www.hongkonqueror.com/Of Greek-German descent, I was raised by my mother in Germany. As a passionate linguist I lived in Switzerland and London after University in Berlin. In London, I started my writing life with two German publishing houses in 1995, published two books about England and about the English, and later founded an agency for Anglo-German print adaptations.

After a creative career in advertising I trained as a coach with the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring. I have been coaching and mentoring individuals and teams ever since, and I am working hard on becoming a coach to my two school-age kids as well.

After our first baby I followed my husband to Hong Kong in 2004, where we are raising our family. This life style change taught me a lot about expatriotism, which is one of my favorite fields of enquiry.

I trained as teacher at Hong Kongโ€™s Iyengar Yoga Centre, where I also had the privilege to teach until I decided that writing would become my main focus again in 2014. Yoga has been the backbone of my personal development for 20 years.

I started the hongkonqueror in January 2015, which also led to founding โ€˜Plan Bโ€™, a charitable initiative helping expatriates re-build their lives in Hong Kong after a personal crisis.
