Chad Brown

Polk County Democratic Party of Iowa Central Committee

Chad Brown is a life-long resident of Polk County. A graduate of Drake University, Brown is a proud member of the Drake Bulldog Club and active in Alumni Club activities.

Following graduation, Brown has worked in management and in home mortgage. Brown's political involvement began in 1995. He has had political letters-to-the-editor and/or editorials published in the Des Moines Register, Des Moines Cityview, Newsweek, The Iowa Bystander, The Challenger, and the Drake Times Delphic. He first served on Polk County Republican Party of Iowa Executive Committee in 2000. In the most recent 2012 cycle, Brown served as Campaign Manager for Rep. Koester and as Volunteer Chair for Charles Schneider's special election for State Senate.
Chad Brown and his wife, Elizabeth, have one 5-year-old daughter, Adelynn. Brown resigned his position as Polk County Republican Party of Iowa Co-Chair in August of 2013.

Since resignation, Brown has registered as a Democrat and was elected to the Polk County Democratic Party of Iowa Central Committee in January, 2014.
