Chris Vroom

Chris Vroom is the Founder and Chairman of Artspace.com, an online marketplace offering a wide range of accessibly-priced contemporary art in collaboration with top artists, leading museums and cultural institutions and select commercial galleries. He also founded Artadia, a New York-based nonprofit that operates curated awards programs for visual artists and offers professional development and networking opportunities to artists across the country. The organization has provided nearly $3 million in support to artists over the past ten years. Prior to founding Artadia, he was a Managing Director and Global Group Head of Internet equity research at Credit Suisse First Boston and was a Managing Director and Head of Consumer Equity research at Alex. Brown & Sons for 14 years. He lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
