Christopher Reeve

Christopher Reeve is a graduate student of international affairs, focusing on media and development, at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He balances his studies with an internship at The New York Times. Originally from Miami, his path to becoming a New Yorker began when he relocated to teach high school students in the Bronx. Having traveled extensively and studied international relations, Christopher especially enjoyed challenging his students of global history. After earning a degree in urban education, Christopher recruited and trained new teachers for the NYC Teaching Fellows program. Now back at school, Christopher spends a lot of time writing on development issues in places from Harlem to Cairo, where he reported last summer for Egypt Independent.
