Concetta M. Stewart
Interim President, Mercy College
Concetta M. Stewart, Ph.D., currently serves Mercy College as Interim President, having served as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs since August 2012.
Dr. Stewart has served as dean of Art and Design at Pratt Institute and as dean of Communications and Theater at Temple University. Dr. Stewart has published widely on subjects relating to communications, education and technology, including her edited volume titled "Teaching and Learning with Technology: Beyond Constructivism."
She holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University, an M.A. from The New School for Social Research, and a B.A. from Rutgers College.
