Courtenay campaigns with the Sierra Club to ensure that trade agreements promote sustainable and equitable policies. She has an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a BA in English and American Literature from the University of Warwick. Prior to the Sierra Club, she worked on the 2008 Obama presidential campaign and as a political appointee at the U.S. Department of the Interior.
