Davis founded and directs The Global Center for Advanced Studies (GCAS) that boasts one of the best Humanities faculties in the world. He has published books with Slavoj Zizek and is a professor of Philosophy. He has lectured widely in Europe and in North America and taught with Oliver Stone, Slavoj Zizek, Chris Hedges, Richard Wolff and others. He also co-edits Insurrections, a book series published by Columbia University Press with Slavoj Zizek, Clayton Crockett & Jeffrey W. Robbins, and has written a novel, Ghostly Icons (forthcoming). Also forthcoming is his book, Contradictions & America (with Alain Badiou).
