Dan Clifford

Partner in the Family Law Practice of Weber Gallagher

Dan Clifford is a Partner in the Family Law Practice Group at the Philadelphia law firm of Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby. He also serves as the Managing Partner of the Norristown Office and Chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee. Dan has received recognition on numerous occasions for his work on behalf of clients in the area of international child custody from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program.

He is active in the leadership of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations. A past Chair of the Montgomery Bar Family Law Section, Dan has been an elected officer of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 2008. Currently Chair-Elect, he will serve as Chair of the 1,400-member Section in 2013. Dan also serves on the PBA Diversity Task Force and is a Zone 9 Delegate to the PBA House of Delegates.

Active in his community, Dan has served on the Board of Directors of Adoptions from the Heart, the Board of Directors of Equality Forum, the Advisory Board of Children & Youth Services (by appointment of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners) and has been Chair of the Springfield Township Zoning Hearing Board for 15 years. In 2009 and 2011, Dan received the coveted “highly recommended” rating from the Judiciary Committee of the Montgomery Bar Association and has served as a Court appointed Arbitrator in civil matters. Dan has been recognized by the publisher of the Pennsylvania edition of Super Lawyers magazine as being among the top 5 percent of practitioners in his practice specialty and, in 2011, was one of 20 attorneys across the Commonwealth honored as “Diverse Lawyer of the Year” by the Legal Intelligencer.
