Dan Weeks is Director of Market Development at ReVision Energy, the industry leader in clean energy transformation in New England and a certified B-Corporation.
A 15-year advocate for democratic reform, Dan serves as Chair of Open Democracy, a nonpartisan government watchdog organization and leader of the NH Rebellion against big money in politics. Previously Dan served as president of Americans for Campaign Reform (now Issue One) in New Hampshire and Washington, DC, and launched the South African Money and Politics Project in Cape Town.
In 2012-13, Dan completed a poverty-line research tour through 30 states by Greyhound bus and wrote Democracy in Poverty: A View From Below. His commentaries on democracy, poverty, and the environment have appeared in The Atlantic, New York Times, Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor, and on BBC, NPR, and PBS, among other outlets.
Dan earned his BA in Political Science from Yale University and MPhil in Political Theory from Oxford, where he was a Marshall Scholar. Prior to enrolling in college, he committed a year of service with AmeriCorps. He lives in Nashua, NH with his wife, Dr. Sindiso Mnisi Weeks, and children.
