Daryn Kagan is the creator and host of DarynKagan.com, the inspirational website featuring stories that, “Show the World What is Possible!”

Her first book, What's Possible! 50 True Stories of People Who Dared To Dream They Could Make a Difference, was published by Meredith Books in April 2008.
Before heading into cyberspace, Daryn anchored news for CNN. During her 12-year tenure at CNN, she reported live on-site during numerous global events, including the war in Iraq from Kuwait. Daryn also reported from Africa during a 2-week tour with U2’s Bono and U.S. Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill., Daryn also covered numerous Presidential elections, the Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy, and the hunt for the Washington, D.C. sniper. Daryn was on the air live during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Earlier, Daryn served as a general assignment news reporter at KTVK-TV in Phoenix. Her first television job was at KEYT-TV in Santa Barbara, Calif. Daryn earned a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.
