David Brenders, Ph.D.

Communications professor

Dr. David Brenders holds a Ph.D in communication from Purdue University, and is an Associate Professor in the College of Communication at DePaul.

He teach classes in persuasion and argumentation, which include the discussion of argumentation and logical fallacies. He has been published in Skeptic Magazine, edited by Michael Shermer (as well as many academic journals).

Dr. Brenders is the co-author (with Robert Norton) of the book, Communication and Consequences: Laws of Interaction.
