Actor and Filmmaker
David Henry Gerson is an actor and a filmmaker. He recently worked opposite Al Pacino in David Mamet’s HBO Phil Spector biopic, on CBS' ‘The UNIT,’ and in the animated film "8Bits" (Sundance '11). On stage in New York, he has played Stanley Kowalski in ‘A Streetcar Named Desire,’ Hamlet in ‘Hamlet’, and Count Almaviva in Diane Paulus’ production of ‘The Marriage of Figaro.’
David has also written, produced and directed films, including the short film ‘Ultra Violet for Sixteen Minutes’ that screened at over a dozen film festivals worldwide, the Pompidou Museum in Paris, and is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
