David Park

David Park has spent much of his career on social change efforts, helping create awareness and action at the national and local levels. He has a passion for combining cross-sector collaboration, communications and creativity to drive the common good.

Park currently serves as executive vice president, mission advancement, for America's Promise Alliance, the country’s leading partnership organization committed to providing young people with opportunities to succeed. Before America’s Promise, Park founded and led Park & Associates, a boutique public relations firm specializing in nonprofit communications. Park also held senior level positions at multinational public relations firms, including Porter Novelli International and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.

David holds an undergraduate degree in communications from American University in Washington, D.C., and also studied at the University of Copenhagen. He is a graduate of the Berkeley Executive Leadership Program, and has taught communications at Georgetown University.
