Deepa S. Iyer

Researcher, Innovations for Successful Societies

Deepa attended Princeton University, where she was a founding editor of the Journal of Religious Life and a fellow on the Religious Life Council, a group dedicated to interfaith dialogue. After graduating in 2009, she received a masters in economics in 2010 from Oxford as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. She then returned to Princeton University to work as a researcher at Innovations for Successful Societies, a think tank focused on service delivery and institutional reform efforts in developing countries. Deepa's job involves frequent fieldwork in different countries, where she enjoys meeting new people, exploring new cities, and buying local spices.
