Diana Mao is an abolitionist. As the President and Co-Founder of Nomi Network, she has dedicated her life to socially and economically empowering survivors of human trafficking and ensuring that the world will see the complete and final end of slavery in our lifetime. Her faith drove her to commit her life to fighting sex and human trafficking when she first saw young children sold on the street while she was on a research trip to Cambodia. Currently she is a Co-Chair for the Nexus Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery Working Group, on the Advisory Board of the Equality Fund, and a former Mentor for The Bush Center Women's Initiative Fellowship. She is a blogger for the Huffington Post, Reuters, and the United States Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center. She is also a Presidential Leadership Scholar, a New York Academy of Medicine Fellow, with a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a Master’s degree from New York University.
