Rabbi, Westwood Village Synagogue; Author: "Connecting to God: Ancient Kabbalah and Modern Psychology"
Dr. Abner Weiss is currently Rabbi of The Westwood Village Synagogue in Los Angeles, and Past President of the Board of Rabbis of Southern California. He is the former spiritual leader of major Jewish communities in South Africa, Great Britain, New York and Beverly Hills. Dr. Weiss holds PhD degrees both in philosophy and psychology and has been a professor at the Universities of Natal, South Africa, London, England, and Yeshiva, New York. He has authored three books and many articles and book chapters, and is a licensed mental health professional in California and New York. His wife, Dr. Yolande Bloomstein, is his Clinical Partner in Village Mental Health Associates.
