Founder and Publisher, Mombian

Dana Rudolph is the founder and publisher of Mombian, a leading lifestyle blog for lesbian moms and other LGBTQ parents, covering a mix of parenting, politics, diversions, and resources. Founded in 2005, Mombian won the GLAAD Media Award for "Outstanding Blog" in 2012. She also writes a regular “Mombian” column for several LGBTQ newspapers around the country and has reported on other LGBTQ political and legal topics for both mainstream and LGBTQ publications. Dana began her career in Internet content development, strategy, and marketing during the first dotcom boom. She has worked at a startup, a Fortune 100 financial firm, and a nonprofit focused on equity and diversity, in addition to her freelance work. She balances parenting, job, and blogging in the Boston area with her spouse of 24 years and their 14-year-old son.
