ELIZABETH ROGERS is a best-selling author, environmental consultant and entrepreneur committed to empowering people with the knowledge and skills needed for making a positive impact on their world.
In 2006, Elizabeth created Trippin’, MTV’s first-ever eco-friendly reality TV show, with actor Cameron Diaz. Hailed as groundbreaking television programming, the show targeted young viewers with the message that even small efforts by everyday people can make a huge difference in saving the planet.
Based on her experiences of shooting Trippin’ around the globe, Elizabeth co-authored The Green Book: The Everyday Guide to Saving the Planet One Simple Step at a Time. This innovative and user-friendly reference shows how simple shifts in personal habits can make a powerful difference in building a stronger, safer and more sustainable world. A New York Times bestseller, The Green Book has been translated into ten languages and is currently in its 18th printing. It ranks as the number one bestselling green title on the market to date.
Elizabeth’s latest project, Shift Your Habit is about a new way of thinking that leads to both saving money and living consciously. It’s about transformation. It’s about your life and making it better.

As an environmental consultant, Elizabeth has worked with major brands like Christie’s (Fine Art Auctions), General Electric, Wal-Mart, Proctor & Gamble, and Chevrolet to develop eco-friendly product lines and marketing messages that effectively motivate consumers to connect with and participate in the new green movement. She has held numerous speaking engagements at national industry conventions, in boardrooms to corporate executives, and in workshops and roundtables across the country about the new efficiency initiatives she has helped create.
Elizabeth spent ten years as the Senior Vice President of Global Communications for Calvin Klein, after which she worked with the Natural Resources Defense Council as a branding consultant.
The success of Elizabeth’s first bestseller, The Green Book, both in the U.S. and abroad is testament to both her expertise within the green space as well as her ability to convey information and ideas to people of hugely diverse circumstances. Similarly, her background in business, marketing, pop-culture, and the non-profit world grounds her on a broad-based platform from which she can effectively communicate to varied audiences on topics ranging from fashion to parenting to marketing to internal corporate messaging.
