Elizabeth Shipp

Political director, NARAL Pro-Choice America

Elizabeth Shipp is the political director of NARAL Pro-Choice America, the political leader of the pro-choice movement. She has served in that role since August of 2003 and is responsible for the electoral strategy of the organization. Prior to joining NARAL, Shipp worked for numerous Democratic candidates throughout the country in a variety of roles including campaign manager, communications director, press secretary and finance director. Former candidates include Senator Kent Conrad (D-ND), former Governor Don Siegelman (D-AL), former Lieutenant Governor Mark Singel (D-PA), former Governor Jim Florio (D-NJ), Michael Coles who ran for Congress and U.S. Senate in Georgia, and state Senator Donald McEachin (D-VA).
