With an impressive body of work in film and television, Emily VanCamp has emerged as one of Hollywood's most sought after young talents.

Vancamp is currently in production for Captain America: The Winter Soldier the sequel to the Marvel's popular 2011 superhero film Captain America: The First Avenger. Vancamp will play โ€œAgent 13โ€ alongside Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson.

VanCamp is best known for her role in the ABC hit series, Revenge, where she stars as Emily Thorne, a mysterious woman who comes to the Hamptons to exact revenge on the people who destroyed her family. The series is a contemporary re-imagining of The Count of Monte Cristo, from a female perspective, created by Swingtown writer creator Mike Kelley. The show will return in its third season this September.

VanCamp first won over audiences on the WB's critically acclaimed drama Everwood starring opposite Treat Williams and Gregory Smith. She portrayed Amy Abbott, the sensitive beauty who quickly steals Ephram's (Gregory Smith) heart. Her performance garnered her Teen Choice Award nominations for Best TV Actress three years in a row.

Recently VanCamp starred in Jonathan Segal's drama Norman opposite Richard Jenkins and Dan Byrd. In the independent film, Norman (Byrd) is a teenager keeping his mother's recent death and his father's (Jenkins) terminal cancer quietly to himself until in a moment of frustration, he tells a lie that changes how he's treated at school making him relatively popular. Complicating the lie, Norman's new smart and pretty classmate, Emily, (Vancamp) comes to like him, and Norman is forced to confront reality.

VanCamp previously starred on ABC's acclaimed hit drama series Brothers and Sisters opposite Sally Field, Rachel Griffiths, Rob Lowe and Calista Flockhart. In the series which followed the lives of the Walker family, VanCamp played Rebecca Harper, the daughter of patriarch William Walker's mistress, Holly Harper (Patricia Wettig), who had close ties to the Walker family and an on-again/off-again relationship with Justin Walker (Dave Annable).

She also starred as the female lead in the ABC mini-series Ben-Hur. She played Esther, a strong, saintly, classic beauty the love interest of Ben Hur and daughter of slave Simonides. Ben-Hur tells the story of a wealthy Jewish youth in Jerusalem during the time of Jesus Christ, who is betrayed by Messala, loses everything and is sold into slavery before seeking revenge and fighting his way back to reclaim his identity. The four hour, two part mini-series aired in Canada on CBC/BBC and will air in the United States later this year.

In 2009, VanCamp starred in the thriller film Carriers opposite Chris Pine, Piper Perabo and Christopher Meloni. Other recent film credits include the Hallmark Hall of Fame television movie Beyond the Blackboard, The Ring 2, co-starring with Naomi Watts and Simon Baker, the Sundance Film Festival hit Lost and Delirious, A Different Loyalty with Sharon Stone and Black Irish with Melissa Leo, Michael Angarano and Brendan Gleeson. VanCamp also portrayed young Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the miniseries Jackie O: A Life Story and was a series regular on the WB series Glory Days.

Born and raised in Port Perry, Ontario, VanCamp has been performing as a dancer since the young age of three. At the age of 12, VanCamp attended the prestigious L'Ecole Superieure de Danse de Quebec, the official training program of Les Grands Ballet Canadiens.

VanCamp currently resides in Los Angeles.
