Co-founder and Executive Vice President, Silver Spring Networks
Eric Dresselhuys is the Co-founder and Executive Vice President of Silver Spring Networks, headquartered in Silicon Valley.
Eric has been with Silver Spring Networks since it was founded in 2002 and has more than 14 years of experience in developing Smart Grid solutions to address the industry’s most pressing challenges. Eric has been instrumental to the growth of the company and currently leads the company’s global development. He has also held various leadership roles in customer development, new product development and product introductions.
Eric is a frequent speaker on topics related to smart grids and energy efficiency and has served on the board of directors of the Smart Grid Consumer Collaborative (SGCC), Demand Response and Smart Grid (DRSG) Coalition and the Automatic Meter Reading Association’s (AMRA) Marketing and Development Committee. He was also the founding member of OpenAMI. Eric previously spent 9 years at Procter & Gamble in various sales and marketing roles. He holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
