Eric Gertler

Eric Gertler is currently CEO of Ulysses Ventures. He previously served as an Executive Vice President at The New York City Economic Development Corporation. Prior to serving in government, Eric was CEO of a number of startups including Privista, a credit and identity theft protection company. Earlier, he was President of U.S.News & World Report and Fast Company. Eric also worked at The New York Daily News as General Counsel & VP/ Business Affairs of the newspaper and was the founder of the newspaper's web site. He is the author of a book on privacy entitled Prying Eyes: Protect Your Privacy From People Who Sell To You, Snoop on You, Or Steal From You (published by Random House).
