Erica is a senior at Lynbrook High School in New York. She is editor-in-chief of her school newspaper, Horizon. In her spare time, Erica serves on the advisory board of First Book-Long Island, a non-profit organization that provides new books to needy children. An aspiring polyglot, Erica plans to pursue the study of foreign languages in college.
